MRS. LYDIA ANDERS
Mrs. Lydia ANDERS, 67, died suddenly this morning at her home in Birmingham.
She is survived by her husband and two children.
The body was brought to the Hoskins Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. Lydia ANDERS, 67, wife of Charles ANDERS, died suddenly at the home in Birmingham (note: in Van Buren Co., IA) at 3:15 yesterday morning. She leaves two children, Mrs. John CROWNER of Lockridge, and Lloyd ANDERS, and Mrs. John FINGER of Birmingham, a sister, Gus McKEY of Whittier, Calif., a brother. She also leaves ten grandchildren.
Mrs. ANDERS who had been a resident of the Birmingham vicinity for the past 35 years, had suffered a stroke three and one half years ago. The body was taken to the Hoskins Funeral home in Fairfield.
The services for Mrs. ANDERS will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 at the Hoskins funeral home, in charge of Rev. James, with burial in Evergreen cemetery.

MRS. C. O. ANDERS
Lydia McKEY, daughter of John and Elizabeth McKEY, was born at Liberty, Adams county, Ill., Oct. 28, 1866, and departed this life July 6, 1934, at the age of 67 years, 9 months and 8 days.
August 21, 1889, she was married to C. O. ANDERS. To this union were born two children, Lloyd of Fairfield, and Mrs. John CROWNER of Lockridge, Ia.
Besides the husband and children are left to mourn her loss ten grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. John FINGER of Birmingham, Ia., one brother, Gus McKEY of Whittier, Calif.
She was a member of the Methodist church and an earnest, devoted christian, following the teachings of her Master.
For the last three years she had been an invalid leading a "shut-in's" life and suffering much pain, patiently and uncomplainingly.
On the morning of July 6, after a night of pain just before the day, she passed away. Funeral services were held from the Hoskins funeral home Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. F. M. James of the Methodist church of Birmingham.
Mrs. Stanley Watts and Mrs. Glen Williams sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "No Night There."
Pall bearers was John Rail, John Crawford, Frank Bagby, Dave Colais, Floyd Heston and John Weber. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery in Fairfield.
