Wilma M. ALLENDER, 55, life-time resident of the Salina community, passed away at the home of her aunt, June ALLENDER, near Salina this morning. Her death came at 9 a.m. to day after an illness of several months.
The body was taken to the Weston Behner funeral home where last rites are pending.
Miss ALLENDER was born December 13, 1892, near Salina, the daughter of Thomas and Annette ALLENDER, both deceased. She had spent her entire life in the community.
She is survived by one brother M. M. ALLENDER, Sr., of Omaha, Nebraska and several aunts. A sister, Irma ALLENDER, also preceded her in death.

Last rites for Miss Wilma M. ALLENDER, Salina resident who died yesterday will be held Monday at the Weston Behner funeral home. The services will be at 1:30 p.m. with Dr. Lloyd H. Scheerer in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
She is survived by one brother, M. M. ALLENDER, Sr., of Omaha, Nebraska; and four aunts, Miss June ALLENDER and Mrs. Odessa POWELL, both of near Salina; Miss Gertrude ALLENDER, and Miss Willamette ALLENDER, both of Palo Alto, California. One nephew, Max ALLENDER, of Delano, Minnesota, also survives.
