Rites Pending For Mrs. ALLEN

Mrs. Laura E. ALLEN, 77, died about 6:50 a.m. at her home, 51 North D. She had been ill the past several days.

The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral Home where last rites are pending.

Laura E. ALLEN was born Sept. 16, 1890, at Birmingham, the daughter of Lincoln and Agnes GOULD CARSON. She was married to Thomas C. ALLEN on Feb. 23, 1916, at Birmingham. He died April 26, 1948.

Mrs. ALLEN had been a resident of Fairfield since 1916. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Fairfield Chapter of the WCTU.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ruth HAWTHORNE, Fairfield, and Mrs. Thelma COONS, Jeffersonville, Ind.; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter and a brother.

Funeral Rites For Mrs. ALLEN

Funeral services for Mrs. Laura E. ALLEN, 77, will be held Friday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m., at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. John R. Dilley of the First United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. ALLEN died Tuesday at her home at 51 North D.

In The Matter Of The Estate Of Laura E. ALLEN, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Estate Of Laura E. ALLEN Deceased:

You are hereby notified that on the 21st day of February, 1968, the undersigned was appointed administrator of said estate. Notice is hereby given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance, and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claims shall thereafter be forever barred.
