ALLEN Rites Held At Ottumwa Today

Funeral services for William ALLEN were held this afternoon at the Johnson funeral home in Ottumwa. He died April 8 in Ottumwa where he made his home (note: in Wapello Co., IA).

Mr. ALLEN was born in Fairfield in 1877 (sic - Feb., 1878), the son of George and Mary McWHIRTER ALLEN. He lived on a farm near Fairfield for may years. His wife preceded him in death. He leaves several nieces and a nephew.

The body will be brought to Fairfield Saturday morning for burial in Evergreen cemetery.
