Irma Rose AIN, 82, 101 E. Fillmore Ave., died at 10:52 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25, 1994, at Jefferson County Hospital.
The service was at 10 a.m. today at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. A memorial has been established to First Christian Church.
Mrs. AIN was born March 23, 1922, in Fairfield, the daughter of John Frederick and Lula SAUNDERS VANNATTA. A Fairfield resident most of her life, she graduated from Fairfield High School in 1939. On May 1, 1946, she married Richard Raymond AIN in Fairfield. She was employed at First National Bank, worked for an oil jobber, with her husband owned and operated the Coast-to-Coast Store, then worked in the office at Fairfield Lumber Company. She was a member of First Christian Church, Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Steven Richard of Fairfield; a daughter, Pamela Sue COTO of Galveston, Texas; three grandchildren; three sisters, Juanita BURRIS of San Antonio, Texas, Marjorie McKEE of Fairfield, and Marcia LOWE of San Angelo, Texas. Her parents, three brothers, Eugene, Paul and J.R. VANNATTA, and a sister, Doris, preceded her in death.
