Harley V. AIN Taken In Death

Harley V. AIN, well known livestock buyer and former Jefferson county farmer, passed away about 1:15 a.m. today at the University hospital at Iowa City.

Last rites will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Lutheran church with Dr. E. A. Piper and the Rev. D. C. Howse officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Harley V. AIN, 65, was born July 10, 1895, the son of the late Janus A. and Mary Louise CARLSON AIN. He was united in marriage to Florence C. JONES on Feb. 11, 1920. The wedding took place at Fairfield.

He lived his entire life in this community, and was a member of the Eagles lodge (sic - Aerie or Club).

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Myrna Louise, Topeka, Kan.; one sister, Mrs. Clarence RODGERS, Fairfield; and two brothers, Raymond C. AIN, Ottumwa; and Russell G. AIN, Fairfield.
