Dropped Dead.

James SHELTON, while in the act of splitting a stick of wood in his barn, on South Sixth street Wednesday evening about five o'clock, dropped dead. He had been up town during the day and seemed in usual health. Had just fed his horses and was getting ready to attend meeting at the Free Methodist church that night. He moved here from Wayland in the spring of 1882 and purchased the home where he and his wife lived. Funeral services were held this morning at 9 o'clock, conducted by Rev. John Moran, of the Free Methodist church, and his remains were buried in the Wright cemetery near Wooster.
