... James SHELTON, a son of Mr. and Mrs. James A. SHELTON (sic - James A. is the son, James H. is the father), died at the home of his parents in this city Saturday, after a brief illness. His age was twenty-six years. Mr. SHELTON grew to manhood in this county, where he had a wide acquaintance. The remains were interred in the Wright cemetery, seven miles southeast of the city, Monday, Rev. G. W. Mapes conducting funeral services. ...
