MRS HANNA SHELTON DIED ON TUESDAY

Mrs. Hannah SHELTON a well known resident of Fairfield and Jefferson county passed peacefully away yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter Mrs. Joseph WRIGHT in the Parsons college addition. Mrs. SHELTON has been in ill health for several years past and during the past few weeks her condition has been so serious that she was removed from her home on South Sixth street to the home of her daughter where she died.

Mrs. SHELTON was 73 years of age and has spent the greater part of her life in Fairfield. She was the mother of eight children, six of whom whth (sic) the husband, James H. SHELTON have preceeded (sic) her in death. Two daughters, Mrs. Stephen WRIGHT and Mrs. Joseph WRIGHT, both of this city survive her also four sisters, Mrs. Walter SAMMONS, Mrs. Catherine BARNES of this city and Mrs. Ellen RILEY of Gravity and Mrs. Harriet HEMPSTEAD of Peoria, Ill., and one brother, W. H. WILLIAMSON of Montana.

The funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the Free Methodist Church and will be conducted by Rev. Louis Mendenhall, a long time acquaintance of the family. The interrment will be in the Wright cemetary near Wooster.

Mrs. Hannah SHELTON an invalid for many years died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph WRIGHT in this city, aged 73 years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Joseph and Mrs. Stephen WRIGHT both of this city, her husband and six children having preceded her to the better land. She also leaves to mourn her death, one brother and four sisters, two of who, Mrs. Walter SAMMONS and Mrs. Catherine BARNES are residents of this city and Mrs. SAMMONS is very seriously ill at the present time and her recovery is considered vero (sic) doubtful. Funeral servicea (sic) were held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the Free Methodist church, conducted by Rev Louis Mendenhall and interment was made in Wright cemetery.
