LOCAL NEWS BRIEFS

… --James REITER passed away last night at 6:30 o'clock at the home of his son about three miles south of this city. The funeral services will be held at nine o'clock Thursday morning at the residence and the interrments will take place in the Wright Cemetery.

--By order of the Committee all Odd Fellows are requested to meet Thursday morning at 8 o'clock sharp in the hall of Fairfield Ledge No. 629 to attend the funeral of the late J. H. REITER, a member of Blackhawk Lodge No. 72 of Waterloo. The funeral occurs at his son's home three miles south of this city at nine o'clock.
