F. M. HERRALD (sic throughout - HERROLD) DIED LAST NIGHT.

Francis Marion HERRALD passed away last night about ten o'clock at the home of his brother, J. S. HERRALD about six miles southeast of Fairfield. He had been suffering several months with a cancer on the neck and his condition has been serious for the past several weeks.

He was born January 6th, 1852, in Pennsylvania, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John HERRALD, being at the time of his death 66 years 8 months and 10 days old.

He is survived by two brothers, J. W. HERRALD and J. S. HERRALD, and one sister Minerva HERRALD all who reside in Jefferson county.

The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at Cedar Chapel, southwest of the city, at ten o'clock, in charge of Rev. Bock, of Birmingham. Burial will be in the Wright cemetery.
