FORSTER Dies

Park FORSTER, 67, died this afternoon at the Fairfield Convalescent and Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

Funeral arrangements are pending. The body is at the Raymond Funeral Home.

Parks FORSTER Rites Thursday

Services for Parks K. FORSTER, 67, Fairfield Route 2, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Ned Gillum. Burial will be in Wright cemetery southeast of Fairfield.

FORSTER died Tuesday at the Fairfield Convalescent and Nursing Home. He had been in failing health for two years.

A retired farmer, FORSTER was employed by the Soil Conservation Service for 17 years. He was also associated with the Forster Hybrid Seed Corn Co.

FORSTER was born Jan. 1, 1899 in North Henderson, Ill., the son of Norman and Mattie PAULEY FORSTER. He attended Alton Academy and Blackburn College and was graduated from the University of Illinois. He was married to Florence HEDGES June 29, 1926.

Surviving are his widow and three children: Norman FORSTER, Milwaukee, Wis.; Mrs. Vernon PARRISH, Fairfield; and Helen FORSTER, Clayton, Mo.

Other survivors are his stepmother, Mrs. Flosse FORSTER, Santa Barbara, Calif.; two grandchildren; one half-brother, Major Thomas FORSTER, Vandenberg Air Force Base; and three half-sisters, Mrs. Chester WRIGHT and Mrs. Staton GOODSON, both of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Mrs. Grace BROWN, Washington State.

FORSTER was a member of the Christian Church.
