Services pending for Mrs. EDDY

Mrs. Albert EDDY, Route 1, died at 7:15 a.m. today at the Ottumwa Hospital in Ottumwa (note: in Wapello Co., IA).

Rites are pending at the Raymond Funeral Home.

EDDY services to be Monday

Services for Alice M. EDDY, 66, will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. D.O. Van Dyne officiating. Burial will be in Wright Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund or Cancer Fund.

She died Friday morning at the Ottumwa Hospital where she had been a patient since July 11. The family home is on Route 1, Fairfield.

Mrs. EDDY served as a cook at Parsons College for a number of years and worked as a babysitter.

Alice M. EDDY was born Dec. 13, 1916, at Newtown, Mo. She was the daughter of Steven A. and Mary BOYD PAXTON. She was reared and educated in Newtown.

Her marriage to Albert S. EDDY took place Sept. 11, 1937, at Milan, Mo. The family lived in the Troy-Selma Community in Van Buren County for ten years before moving to Fairfield in 1952.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kathy COOPER, Rose Hill; two sons, William A. EDDY, Texas, and Jack EDDY, Fairfield.

Other survivors include seven grandchildren; four brothers, Russell and Harold PAXTON, Newtown, Mo.; Rex PAXTON, Council Bluffs and Gordon PAXTON, Fairfield; a sister, Olive WILLIAMS, Lucerne, Mo.

Mrs. EDDY was preceded in death by two brothers and two children who died at birth.
