The Funeral Services of Well Known Resident Tomorrow Afternoon at 2:00Frank COX died yesterday afternoon about 4:30 oclock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Graby. He and his wife had started to town in their car and on reaching the Graby home, Mr. COX remarked of being sick and got out of the car and walked toward the house reaching the porch when he fell dead. Mr. COX had been a sufferer of high blood pressure for several years and had returned from Colfax only a few days ago where he had been receiving treatments. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon from the home 7 1-2 miles southeast of the city, at 2 oclock in charge of Rev. R. H. Polly. Interment will be made in the Wright cemetery. Frank COX was born in Iowa January 6, 1869, being at the time of his death 56 years, 2 months and 20 day old (sic).
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert COX. Besides his wife he leaves one daughter, Margaret, who is a senior in the high school.

Front Page, Column 2LAST RITES OF FRANK COX HELD SATURDAY
The last rites for Frank COX of Cedar township was held at his late home Saturday afternoon at 2 oclock, the services being in charge of Rev. R. H. Polly of the Christian church. Miss Cora Ball and Mrs. Frank Pierson sang, "Nearer My God to Thee," "Rock of Ages" and "We are Going Down the Valley One by One." A large concourse of friends and neighbors were present. He was laid to rest in the Wright cemetery which is located on his own farm.
The following neighbors were the pall bearers: John E. Keller, Tony Ruggles, Lealdes Phillips, Alex Smith, J. O. Ruggles, Omer Tracht, Marion Humphrey and A. R. Fickel.

FRANK COX
Frank COX was born near Wooster, Jefferson County, Iowa, Jan. 16 (sic - 6th), 1869. Died March 26, 1925, aged 56 years, 2 months and 10 days (sic - 20 days).
All his life was spent in this community. He was married to Miss Alma SMITHBURG on Oct. 11, 1906, who with one daughter, Margaret, survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents who died in 1917; a sister Mrs. T. J. GRANT who died in 1919 and a brother who died in early childhood.
Mr. COX was a man of unusually strong personality and of temperate and industrious habits. His passing leaves a void in this community which will be noticable (sic) for some time to come.
Funeral services were conducted from the home on Saturday afternoon at two oclock by Rev. R. H. Polly of the Christian church. Interment was made in the Wright cemetery.

Notice is hereby given that an instrument, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Frank COX, deceased, is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court of Jefferson county, and that April 11, A. D. 1925 at 2 oclock p.m., it being the 12th day of March Term, 1925 of said court, has been set for proof and final hearing of same.
Witness my hand and the seal of said Court this 31st day of March, 1925.
