Fairfield Woman Is Found Dead in Home
Special To The Hawk-Eye Gazette.

Fairfield, Ia.--Mrs. Edith HILL died Thursday at 10 a.m. at the home of Mrs. Lucy Werner, 105 E. Washington street, after 3-months' serious illness.

She was born June 1, 1869.

Surviving are a son, Kenneth, of Davenport; a step-daughter, Mrs. Goldie FRAZIER, Mt. Pleasant; and 2 step-sons, George, of Douds, and Ray, of Milton. Her husband, David HILL, died in 1916.

The body is at Hoskins funeral home where plans for last rites are pending.

EDITH HILL PASSES AWAY

Mrs. Edith HILL, 75, passed away this morning at the Mrs. Lucy Werner home, 107 East Washington St., where she had resided for some time. She had been in failing health for the past two years but seriously ill for the past three months.

Mrs. HILL was born June 1, 1869 on a farm east of Fairfield and a resident of Fairfield for the past 18 years. She was the daughter of William and Mary FAWCETT CLOVER. Her husband preceded her in death in 1916.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth of Davenport; one step-daughter, Mrs. Goldie FRAZIER of Mt. Pleasant; two step-sons, Geo. HILL of Douds and Ray HILL, Milton; two granddaughters and two grandsons.

The body is at the Hoskins funeral home. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Rites for Fairfield Woman Saturday
Special To The Hawk-Eye Gazette.

Fairfield, Ia.--Funeral services for Mrs. Edith HILL, who died Thursday morning after 3-months illness, will be held at the Hoskins funeral home Saturday at 10 a.m. Rev. S. P. Williamson, of the First Christian church, will conduct the services.

Services Tomorrw (sic) For Mrs. Edith HILL

Funeral services for Mrs. Edith HILL, who died yesterday, will be held tomorrow, Saturday, at 10:00 A.M. at the Hoskins Funeral Home.

Reverend Williamson will be in charge of the services. Interment will not be at this time.
