Gene W. BOOS

Gene W. BOOS passed away Jan. 19, 2005, in Pheonix, Ariz.

He was born in Fairfield in 1933 to M. Katharine (BOWER) and William K. BOOS.

At the age of 10, Gene delivered papers for the Fairfield Ledger and won a bike.

Gene and his mother moved to Pheonix in 1948.

Gene is survived by his wife Kathleen; daughter Karen CAHILL and husband Steve; two grandsons, Ronan and Brody. He is also survived by his aunt Alyn BECKSEN of Cedar Rapids.

Graveside services will be at Glasgow Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Admin. note: Gene's ashes were divided, with part being interred in Glasgow Cemetery and part interred in Lockridge Cemetery. Gravestones for both burials exist.
