MRS. ELMORE DIES TODAY
Long-time resident of this community succumbs, long illness

Mrs. Andrew J. ELMORE, 80, long-time resident of this community, passed away at 1:15 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clarence CUMMINGS, 304 W. Adams. Mrs. ELMORE had been in poor health for the past eight years, and seriously ill for four months.

The body was taken to the Hoskins funeral home pending completion of funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Martha Jane ELMORE was born October 31, 1860, in Jefferson county, Tennessee. She had been a resident of Fairfield for the past 21 years.

Surviving are the following children, Wesley ELMORE of Camden, N. Y.; Edgar ELMORE of Adams City, N. Y.; Mrs. Rilla LUCAS of Williamsport, Ind.; Glen ELMORE, Hugh ELMORE and Mrs. Clarence CUMMINGS all of Fairfield. Eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. L. E. PIATT of Knoxville, Tenn., also survive. Her husband, Andrew J. ELMORE passed away March 31, 1898.

Funeral Services For Mrs. A. J. ELMORE Sunday Afternoon

Funeral services for Mrs. Andrew J. ELMORE, 80, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the Hoskins Funeral Home. The services will be in charge of Rev. S. P. Williamson, and interment will be in Walnut cemetery.

Mrs. ELMORE passed away yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clarence CUMMINGS, in this city. She had been seriously ill for the past four months.
