Page 5, Column 2Brighton Enterprise: "Jerome DRAPER died at the home of his son-in-law, Richard CAVINESS, at Pleasant Plain, on Wednesday morning Oct. 1st, at 3 o'clock, aged about 70 years. Deceased was a carpenter by trade and lived in Brighton for many years, removing to Selma about twelve years ago. Soon after leaving here his wife died and about a year ago he went to Pleasant Plain to live with his daughter. The remains were buried at the grave yard on Walnut, Wednesday afternoon."
