John C. LYNN, 76, 1102 Marion St., Winona, Minn., died Tuesday morning at the Community Hospital in Winona. He had been self-employed in the Fairfield area until his retirement.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Church of the Nazarene in Winona, Minn., with the Rev. Phil Williams officiating.
A second memorial service will be held at the Free Methodist Church in Fairfield at 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 1. The Rev. George Koch will officiate. Interment will be in the (Green) Upper Richwoods Cemetery in the LYNN family plot.
Memorials may be made to the Free Methodist Church of Fairfield.
LYNN was born Oct. 19, 1908, in Fairfield to W. Harry and Nellie SALLADAY LYNN. On Jan. 5, 1927, he married Thelma GARBER in Fairfield. She survives.
He was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Fairfield until his move to Winona. There he became a member of the Nazarene Church.
In addition to his widow LYNN is survived by one daughter, Betty Lou EMMONS of Dakota, Minn.; one brother, Floyd J. LYNN of Fairfield; two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. His parents, one brother and one sister preceded him in death.
