MRS. HARRIET A. KYLE DIED SUNDAY

Mrs. Harriett Ann KYLE, one of the older residents of Jefferson county, passed away last night at ten o'clock at her home at Richwoods after an illness of some time with cancer.

The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock from the late residence in charge of Rev. Carson of this city. The remains will be laid to rest in the Richwoods cemetery near Perlee.

Mrs. KYLE was the daughter of John and Elizabeth LYNN and was born in Pennsylvania on January 15, 1836. In 1844 the family moved to Jefferson county, Iowa, where they have since resided. She is survived by a brother and sister: Jasper LYNN and Mrs. H. S. ANGSTEAD, both of this city. On Feb. 24, 1870, she was united in marriage to Wm. KYLE, who is left to mourn her loss. To this union was born one daughter, Mrs. George NEAL, of East Pleasant Plain. In early life she united with the Methodist church and during her life lived in accordance with its teachage. Many friends will sympathize with the sorrowing family in the loss of this good woman.
