MRS. JOHN KYLE FUNERAL TODAY
At 1:30 O'clock from Home Near Pleasant Plain; She Died Saturday

Mrs. John J. KYLE, mother of Mrs. G. Fred GREBER, 415 North Main street, passed away Saturday after noon at 4 oclock at her home 2 1-2 miles southeast of Pleasant Plain at the age of 88 years after an illness of several weeks. The funeral services were held this afternoon at 1:30 oclock from the home in charge of Rev. Harvey Moon of the Friends church.

Mrs. KYLE was formerly Miss Emily (sic - Sarah Emily) GEORGE and she was born in Cincinnati July 12, 1840, and grew to womanhood in the Richwoods community. For many years after her marriage to Mr. KYLE the family home was at Beckwith. A son Ira Edgar KYLE died Sept. 14. Her husband and two other children have preceded her in death. Those surviving are: Mrs. Mattie ROBINSON of Brighton; Monroe of Glendale, Mrs. Grace HANAN, Rubio, Mrs. Mary HICKENBOTTOM of Broken Bow, Neb., Harry of Brighton and Arthur of Pleasant Plain.

MRS. EMILY KYLE RITES WERE HELD
From Her Home Near East Pleasant Plain In Charge of Rev. Harvey Moon

Funeral services for Mrs. Emily KYLE, who passed away Saturday at her home 2 1-2 miles east of East Pleasant Plain, were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 oclock from the home. Rev. Harvey Moon of the Friends church conducted the last rites. Burial was made in the Upper Richwoods cemetery.

Rev. Moon and Miss Ida Humphrey sang "Rock of Ages" "Asleep in Jesus" and "Some Time We'll Understand". The home was filled with lovely flowers, the gift of her friends and relatives.
