Miss Lizzie HERRING, after a lingering illness of consumption, died at the home of Mr. Scott Charlton, five miles northeast of town, Sunday evening, July 23d, at eight o'clock. The funeral took place Tuesday morning at ten o'clock, from the residence of Mr. Charlton, Rev. E. L. Schreiner conducting the services. The remains were interred in Richwoods cemetery.
Deceased was thirty-five years old, and formerly made her home with Mr. Frank McCarty of this city. Two sisters were present at the funeral, Mrs. W. A. WORKMAN, of Catama, Nebraska, and Mrs. SYMONS, of Illinois.
