WILLIAM R. HENDRICKS

William R. HENDRICKS, age 88 years, died last night at his home, 206 East Hempstead street, having suffered a stroke of apoplexy the day before. He had been in ill health for some time. the funeral arrangements have not been completed at this time.

Mr. HENDRICKS was born in Ohio, Nov. 15, 1841. He came to Iowa in 1849. He lived in the Richwoods vicinity until 12 years ago when he moved to this city. He was married to Miss Anna M. ALLENDER of Salina in 1866 and she has preceded him in death.

He is survived by the following children: E. C. of East Pleasant Plain, Dr. N. J. of Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Roy of Norwood, Ohio, Floyd of Burlington Mrs. J. R. HARVEY of Helena, Mont., and Mrs Olive BLOUGH of this city.

… --Dr. N. J. HENDRICKS of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Dr. Roy HENDRICKS of Norwood, Ohio, who was called here by the death of their father, William R. HENDRICKS, left last night for Burlington for a short visit with their brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd HENDRICKS, before returning to their homes.

State of Iowa, Jefferson County, ss,

To all whom it may concern:

Notice is hereby given that an instrument, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of William R. HENDRICKS, Deceased is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court of Jefferson county, and that Friday, January 31, A. D. 1930 at 2 oclock p.m., has been set for proof and final hearing of same.

Witness my hand and the seal of said Court this 6th day of January, 1930.
