Page 8, Column 1Mrs. HENDRICKS Dies Suddenly
Mrs. Edwin C. HENDRICKS, lifetime resident of Jefferson county, passed away early this morning at her farm home seven miles northeast of Fairfield. Her death came at 1:30 a.m.
She had been in failing health the past three months but her death was sudden and unexpected.
Last rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond funeral home with the Rev. Harold Kruger in charge. Burial will be in the Richwoods cemetery.
Mary Roseana HENDRICKS, 88, was born May 31, 1872, in the Richwoods community northeast of Fairfield. She was the daughter of Robert D. and Jennie GORDON LYNN. She was reared and educated in the Richwoods community and married Nov. 14, 1894, at her home to Edwin C. HENDRICKS. He preceded his wife i (sic) death on Feb. 24, 1951.
A member of the Bethesda Methodist church, Mrs. HENDRICKS. He preceded his wife in erson county. (sic)
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edith SCHILLERSTROM, Fairfield; four grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth MESSER, Marengo, Iowa; and two brothers, Ross LYNN, Marshalltown, and Clarence LYNN, Keota.

C. MESSER, Williamsburg; Joyce SCHILLERSTROM, Coe Ann BLOUGH, Mr. and Mrs. Glen West and Cloyce, Ottumwa; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence LYNN, Mr. and Mrs. L.P. Statler, Mrs. Glen Ladehoff, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lampe, all of West Chester; Mrs. John Jarvis, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gibson and son, Washington; and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jacobs, Donnellson.
Ross LINN (sic - LYNN), brother of Mrs. HENDRICKS, is remaining for a longer stay with his niece, Mrs. Edith SCHILLERSTROM.
