Page 3, Column 2MRS. W. R. HENDRICKS DIED LAST EVENING OF HEART TROUBLE
Mrs. Wm. R. HENDRICKS passed away about six o'clock last evening at her home on East Hempstead street, her death being caused by heart trouble. Mrs. HENDRICKS had been in very poor health for the past two years.
Anna Margaret ALLENDER, a daughter of Jacob and Mary ALLENDER was born in Ohio, April 20th, 1844. She moved to Jefferson county when a young girl and has since made her home on a farm northeast of the city until two years ago when she moved to Fairfield. Fifty-two years ago she was united in marriage to Wm. R. HENDRICKS. To this union were born eleven children, four of whom preceeded (sic) their mother in death. In girlhood Mrs. HENDRICKS united with the Methodist church at Richwoods and has since been a faithful member.
She leaves to mourn her death the following children: J. F. HENDRICKS F. H. HENDRICKS, Mrs. J. D. BLOUGH and Mrs. J. R. HARVEY all of Winifred, Mont., Dr. N. J. HENDRICKS and Dr. Roy HENDRICKS of Cincinnati, O., and E. C. HENDRICKS of Richwoods. She is also survived by one brother T. B. ALLENDER of this city and four sisters, Mrs. O'Dessa POWELL and Miss June ALLENDER of Salina, Misses Wilhelmaina Gertrude ALLENDER of California and Miss Eloa ALLENDER of Omaha, Neb.
Funeral services will be held at Richwoods church tomorrow afternoon at four o'clock in charge of Rev. C. L. Tennant. The funeral party will start from the home at three o'clock. Interment will be made in Richwoods cemetery.
