MRS. ELIZABETH SMITH DIED THIS MORNING

Mrs. Elizabeth SMITH aged 83 years, died this morning at the county farm where she had supported herself since the removal from Fairfield of the family of George W. White, with whom she had made her home for many years. George W. White was raised by Mr. and Mrs. SMITH. She was the widow of Eli SMITH, who died here about three years ago (sic - in 1906).

Mrs. SMITH suffered a stroke of paralysis a few days ago and this coupled with her old age was the immediate cause of her death

The funeral will be held Saturday morning at nine o'clock at the Frazey undertaking parlors and will be in charge of Rev. C. L. Tennant of the Methodist church. The interrment (sic) will be at the Union cemetery south of Glendale. One son Riley SMITH of near Glasgow survives Mrs. SMITH.
