… Elmer SMITH, who has been studying telegraphy under his brother, Paud, for several months, has been sent to Woolson to see how well he can serve as R. R. agent. …

… Mrs. Wm. R. SMITH whom we have reported from time to time as being very ill, died Wednesday afternoon. Her son, Elmer, (above noted) was called home at once. …
