SCHILLERSTROM FUNERAL YESTERDAY

Oliver S. SCHILLERSTROM was born near Four Corners in this county March 23, 1851. Died at the Monroe KYLE home near Glendale Sunday Jan. 29, 1911, at 8 o'clock.

In 1889 he was united in holy matrimony toi (sic) Miss Ella LARSON. To this union four children were born, three of whom, Roy Gail and Ruth, survive the deceased, but one died in infancy. The wife of the deceased preceded him into the great beyond by thirteen years.

There are also four brothers left to mourn his departure, Charlie of this city, Joseph of Salina, Paul of Oregon, and Gust, of Lockridge and a very aegd (sic) father, 94 years old, who resides with his son Gust, at Lockridge.

The deceased professed faith in his Maker several years ago and united with the Lockridge Baptist church and remained a faithful member until death.

Mr. SCHILLERSTROM was hurt by a railroad tie falling on him some years ago and was never able to work since the accident.

Rev. H. M. Burns of the Fairfield Baptist church officiated and spoke from these words, "Blessed are they who died in the Lord." The funeral was held from the Parsonsville church and interment was made at Union cemetery.

After years of helplessness with rheumatism, Oliver SCHILLERSTROM passed to rest Sunday. Mr. SCHILLERSTROM was born in this County in March, 1851, and with the exception of a few years spent in Nevada had lived here all his life. His wife died thirteen years ago and left him three little children to rear. His home during the years of his helplessness has been with his niece, Mrs. Monroe KYLE, who has attended him with the most loving care. Rev. Burns conducted funeral exercises at Parsonville church. …

… Oliver SCHILLERSTROM, who has been an invalid for several years, died Sunday morning at eight o'clock at the home of J. M. KYLE, where he has made his home for several years. He was born near Four Corners in this county March 23, 1851. In 1889 he was married to Miss Ella LARSON. To this union four children were born, one died in infancy. Roy, Gail and Ruth are left to mourn the loss of a kind father. The mother died about thirteen years ago. He also leaves four brothers: Charley of Fairfield, Joseph of Salina, Paul of Oregon, and Gust of Lockridge, also an aged father 94 years old wno (sic) makes his home with his son Gust. Mr. SCHILLERSTROM was a faithful member of the Baptist church at Lockridge, always expressing a willingness to go when his Master called. Rev. H. M.
