Had spent last 63 years of life at 701 West KirkwoodMrs. Ellen SCOTT, 90-year old pioneer Fairfield resident, died at 1 a.m. this morning at the Jefferson county hospital. She would have observed her 91st birthday on Friday June 9.
Mrs. SCOTT had lived 65 years in Fairfield and had spent 63 of those years in the same home 701 West Kirkwood.
She was born June 9, 1848 in Saint Marys, Ohio. She had been ill only about the last two weeks or so.
Mrs. SCOTT is survived by a son, Boyd PARSONS, of Galesburg, Ill., a brother Richard RAMSAY of Dayton, Ohio; and by two sisters, Mrs. Abigail WILKENS of Saint Marys, O., and Mrs. Charlotte REEL of Deadwood, South Dakota.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hoskins Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. W. R. Yingling. Interment will be in the Union cemetery south of Parsonsville.
