E. A. PARSONS DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER
Aged Jefferson County Resident Called After Long Illness

Eugene A. PARSONS, 80, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Leo BLOUGH, 802 W. Burlington, at 11:25 a. m. today. Mr. PARSONS had been in poor health for the past three months and seriously ill for two weeks.

He was born May 26, 1856, in Iowa. He lived almost his entire life on a farm 5 miles east of the city.

Surviving him are two children, Mrs. Leo BLOUGH of this city, and Rex PARSONS of Knoxville, two grandchildren, Richard Arlington and Maycel Leota BLOUGH of Fairfield, and two brothers, Harry of near Fairfield and Jess of Canada. His wife preceded him in death May 19, 1935.

The body was taken to the Hoskins funeral home.
