CHAS. PARSONS CALLED BY DEATH
Youngest Son of William PARSONS; Funeral Tomorrow at 10 A. M.

Charles Fulton PARSONS, the youngest son of William (sic - James William) PARSONS, residing 9½ miles southeast of the city, passed away yesterday morning at 7 o'clock at the Jefferson County hospital after an illness extending over a period of six weeks.

Charles was born on a farm south east of Fairfield Oct. 3, 1910 (sic - Oct. 10, 1909) His mother, Mrs. Ada B PARSONS preceded hi min (sic) death Feb. 27, 1327 (sic - 1927) Besides the father he leaves four brothers: Dale PARSONS of Omaha, Neb, Hayes PARSONS of Portland, Ore., and Claire PARSONS of this city and John PARSONS, a senior at Parsons college. He also leaves two nephews Billy PARSONS, Jr, at home and Henry PARSONS of Portland, Ore., and two nieces, Jacqueline PARSONS of Fairfield and Catherine PARSONS of Russell.

The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from the family home in charge of Rev Orville Walker, a student at Drake University in Des Moines and a fraternity brother of John PARSONS. Burial will be made in Union cemetery.

PARSONS RITES HELD YESTERDAY
From the Home Southeast of Fairfield; Burial at the Union Cemetery

The last rites for Charles PARSONS, who passed away Sunday morning at the Jefferson County hospital, were held yesterday morning at 10 oclock from the home of his father, William PARSONS, 9 1-2 miles southeast of the city.

Rev. Orville Walker of Des Moines conducted the services in the presence of many relatives and friends. Lovely floral offerings were banked around the casket. A quartet composed of Mrs. Gregg Hobson, Mrs. Marshall Case, Mrs. Alex Smith and Mrs. Sam Turner sang the songs with Mrs. Ray Grant accompanying on the organ.

The pallbearers were cousins of the deceased and were: Lyle FULTON, James FULTON, Harold FULTON and Robert FULTON, Jr., Virgil and Marshall HICKENBOTTOM. Burial was made in the Union cemetery.
