Page 2, Column 3JAMES OVERHOLSER DIED LAST NIGHT.
James Milton OVERHOLSER, one of the most highly respected residents of Jefferson county, passed away last night at 12:30 at his home three miles northeast of the city after a week's illness with pneumonia.
Mr. OVERHOLSER was the son of Henry and Mary McCormick OVERHOLSER and was born east of Fairfield on Nov. 16th, 1858. All of his life has been spent in Jefferson county, where he was held in high esteem by all who knew him.
In early manhood he was united in marriage to Miss Anna HICKENBOTTOM, who is left to mourn the loss of a loving husband. He is survived by four children who are as follows: Ernest, Guy, and Otto, all of Fairfield and Mrs. Elsie OGDEN of Park Rapids, Minn. He also leaves two brothers: John OVERHOLSER, of Dexter, and Henry OVERHOLSER, of California.
No funeral arrangements have been made yet, until word is received from relatives.

The funeral services for James Milton OVERHOLSER were held this afternoon at two o'clock from the home, 3½ miles northeast of the city, in charge of Rev. Keesey of the Methodist church. The remains were then taken to the Union cemetery, south of Parsonsville for burial.
