Lifetime Resident, Mrs. J. M. OVERHOLSER Passed Away

Mrs. James Milton OVERHOLSER, nearly 81 years of age and a lifetime resident of Fairfield, passed away very suddenly this morning at 8:30 at her home, 309 East Adams street.

Mrs. OVERHOLSER was born on November 15, 1858. Her husband and one daughter preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter Mrs. Frank TOWN, Park Rapids, Minn.; two sons, James Ernest of Fairfield and Otto of Jewell, Iowa.

One brother, Joseph E. HICKENBOTTOM of Fairfield and three sisters Mrs. Ada DYER, Geneva, Nebr.; Mrs. Mary DAMM, Fairfield and Mrs. Ida McCARTY, Fairfield.

The body was taken to the Weston Behner funeral home pending funeral arrangements.

OVERHOLSER FUNERAL
Last rites will be held Sunday, 2 p. m. at Behner Home

The Mrs. J. M. OVERHOLSER funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon October 1, at the Weston-Behner funeral home. The services will be in charge of Dr. M. A. Gable of the Methodist church. Burial will be in Union cemetery near Parsonsville.

The services will be at 2 p.m.

Mrs. OVERHOLSER, a life-long resident of Fairfield, died suddenly yesterday morning at her home, 309 E. Adams street.

MARTHA ANN OVERHOLSER

Martha Ann OVERHOLSER passed away Thursday morning September 28, at 8:30 a. m. at her home at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 11 days. She was the oldest daughter of James and Jane HICKENBOTTOM and lived her entire life in Jefferson county. She was united in marriage to James M. OVERHOLSER Aug. 28, 1877. To this union seven children were born. Preceding her in death were her husband and four children.

Surviving are Ernest of Fairfield, Otto of Jewell, Iowa, and Mrs. Elsie TOWN of Park Rapids, Minn. Also seven grandchildren, seven great grand children and three sisters, Mrs. Mary DAMM, Mrs. Ida McCARTY and Mrs. Ada DYER; one brother, Joe E. HICKENBOTTOM and other relatives. Burial at Union cemetery, southeast of Parsonsville.
