Rites Wednesday For Mrs. MOORE

Last rites will be Wednesday morning for Mrs. G. Fred MOORE, well known resident of Jefferson county who died suddenly Saturday at the home of the Rev. and Mrs. Friend Glendenning at Martinsville, Ill. Her death came at 6 p.m. about 15 minutes after their arrival.

Evangelist and Mrs. MOORE had gone to Martinsville to assist the Rev. Glendening conduct services at his church during the weekend. Martinsville is located a short distance from Terre Haute, Ind.

The services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Nazarene church with the Rev. Friend Glendenning in charge. He will be assisted by the Rev. Robert Swanson and A. K. Harper. Burial will be in the Union cemetery east of Fairfield.

Sylvia Florence MOORE, 67, was born Feb. 8, 1895, at Glendale, Iowa, and spent all but seven years of her life on the farm where the family home is now located. She was the daughter of J. Monroe and Minnie B. SMITH KYLE.

She was united in marriage on Dec. 29, 1928, to Fred MOORE (sic - George Frederick 'Fred' MOORE). The marriage took place at Monmouth, Ill. For the past ten years she had been a constant companion of her husband as they conducted evangelistic services in several states throughout the Midwest. They just recently returned from an extended trip which took them to several western states.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. MOORE is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Imogene HINKLE who is a junior high teacher at the Waco school in Wayland, Iowa; two grandsons and a brother, LaVerne KYLE, Lockridge. She was preceded in death by her parents.
