Evelyn L. HUMMELL CAMPBELL, 89, of Ottumwa, died at 6:40 p.m. July 5, 2019 at Vista Woods Care Center in Ottumwa (note: in Wapello Co., IA).

She was born April 19, 1930 in Mt. Pleasant to Harry and Mary BARTON THOMSON. She married Glenn R. HUMMELL on April 30, 1949. He preceded her in death in 1989. She married Neil CAMPBELL on March 1, 1994. He preceded her in death December 18, 2013.

A graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School in 1948, she and her husband Glenn farmed near Stockport.

Evelyn was a 50 year member of Stockport Chapter #544 Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving is her daughter, Aleta (Dana) HARRIS of Ottumwa; two grandchildren, Erin K. HARRIS of Ottumwa and Gregory HARRIS of Kansas City, MO.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Arvid THOMSON.

Graveside services and burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Spencer Cemetery in Stockport with an Eastern Star service conducted by Stockport Chapter #544 Order of Eastern Star (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spencer Cemetery in Stockport.
