Page 4, Column 3MRS. P. H. LOOMIS DIED FRIDAY
Mrs. P. H. LOOMIS passed away yesterday afternoon at her home on West Adams street after a several months illness with a complication of diseases.
Mrs. LOOMIS is survived by her son Dr. Samuel BROWN of Panora, Ill., who was with her at the time of her death.
The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, from the late residence, in charge of Dr. W. E. Parsons. The remains will be laid to rest in Evergreen cemetery.*

Mrs. P. H. LOOMIS passed away at her home on West Adams street Friday afternoon after a several month's illness with a complication of diseases.
The funeral services were held from the residence Monday afternoon conducted by Dr. W. E. Parsons. Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery.*
Mrs. LOOMIS is survived by one son, Dr. Samuel BROWN, of Panora, Ill., who was with his mother when death came.

*Transcribed for genealogy purposes; I have no relation to the person(s) mentioned.*Admin note: Phoebe was not buried in Evergreen Cemetery, but in the adjacent Old Fairfield City Cemetery, in Lot 22 with her first husband Joseph BROWN who died in 1872. She was the daughter of Nathan and Lydia EVERHARD HARTMAN. She had married Gilbert LOOMIS about 1880, and he is buried in Van Buren Co., IA.
