Paul H. "Pat" Caswell
April 05, 2005Paul H. "Pat" Caswell, 81, of Omaha, Neb., died Thursday, March 10, 2005.
A memorial service was held March 14 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Omaha. Private family inurnment was in Calvary Cemetery in Omaha.
Mr. Caswell was born April 6, 1923, in Oskaloosa, the son of John H. and Julia B. Donnelly Caswell. He married Ruth Pickard March 30, 1944, in San Leandro, Calif.
He graduated from Stockport High School in 1940.
Mr. Caswell served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
After retiring from the service he worked in certified public accountant firms in Des Moines and Omaha, and was a financial manager for Serta Mattress Company in Omaha.
He also worked for KOIL radio in Omaha.
He retired in 1987.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; two sons, Paul J. Caswell and wife Pamela of Shanghai, China, and John H. Caswell and wife Monica of Omaha; two daughters, Barbara J. Walker, and Carol Larson and husband John all of Omaha; one sister, Patricia "Patsy" Willhour of What Cheer, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John "Swede" Caswell; and one son-in-law, David A. Walker.
