Jack BLAKELEY Jr.

Jack BLAKELEY Jr., of Lebanon, OH, age 81, died Thursday, March 24, 2005, in Otterbein-Lebanon, OH. Born on September 9, 1923 in North Platte, Nebraska, he was the son of John Edward and Lucy Louella (nee: WATSON) BLAKELEY, and graduated from the Fairfield High School, Iowa. For 20 years he was the owner of K. Construction Company in Dayton, OH, and retired to Mesa, AZ with his wife in 1992.

Preceded in death by his parents, survivors include his wife of 57 years, Bettye (nee: STORTZ) BLAKELEY of Otterbein-Lebanon, OH, one daughter, Shirley SEIFERT (Michael), and two granddaughters, Christina and Stephanie SEIFERT, all of Cincinnati, OH.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Memorials are requested to Otterbein-Lebanon Benevolent Care Fund, 580 N. St. Rt. 741, Lebanon OH 45036, or Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.

Arrangements are by Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon, OH.
