Marie L. Miller, 92, of 3000 W. Madison Ave., died at 12:10 a.m. Sunday, March 13, 2005, at the Jefferson County Hospital.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Friends are welcome to sign the register book at the funeral home today. The casket will be closed at Miller's request.

Memorials have been established to Richland United Methodist Church or to a memorial to be named at a later date by the family.

Mrs. Miller was born Nov. 8, 1912, in Fairfield, the daughter of Frank and Mary S. Koontz Booth. She married LaVerne Wilson. She then married Richard W. Miller March 10, 1961, in Fairfield. He died Aug. 2, 1980.

She was a resident of Fairfield most of her life.

She had been a school teacher and worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for the city clerk.

Mrs. Miller moved to Richland for several years, where she was a member of the Richland United Methodist Church.

She has been a resident of SunnyBrook Assisted Living in Fairfield for the past two years.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Dyer of Richland and Sharon Diane Williams of Gibson; two sons: David LeVerne Wilson of Linn County and James Robert Wilson of Cedar Rapids; three step-children, Larry Miller of Fairfield, Linda Carr of Batavia and Janice Blackburn of Keosauqua; nine grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Maxine Angstead of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her second husband; parents; two brothers, Carl and William "Bud" Booth; and one grandchild.
