David PECK dies at 71

BRIGHTON -- David A. PECK, 71, Route 2, Brighton, died Tuesday night at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

Services will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in E. Pleasant Plain with the Rev. Louis Leonhardt officiating. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton. Burial will be in Polishville Cemetery (sic - St. Mary Catholic Cemetery).

PECK was born Feb. 17, 1910 in Washington County, the son of Frank and Bertha DRISH PECK. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church. He farmed all his life, spending 64 years on the same farm south of Brighton.

He is survived by one sister, Esther PECK, who farmed with him.
