Joseph D. MINEART
March 07, 2005Joseph D. MINEART, 80, of Parker, Ariz., died Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at his home.
A memorial service was held Friday.
Parker Funeral Home in Parker was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. MINEART was born Nov. 26, 1924, in Pleasant Plain, the son of Vincent and Elizabeth DONALDSON MINEART. He married Joan HOAGE Aug. 27, 1966.
He lived in the Pleasant Plain area and operated the family farm most of his life.
Following his retirement from farming, he worked for the Fairfield Community School District for 10 years, retiring in 1994.
His pastimes included spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and traveling.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda MADSON and husband Jim of Mayhill, N.M. and Debra HOAGE of Tularoso, N.M.; two sons, Doug MINEART and wife Joanna of Plano, Texas, and Craig MINEART and wife Sherri of Brighton; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Marion HUMSTON of Washington, Iowa; and one brother Bob MINEART of Roseville, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles and Howard MINEART; and one sister, Lucille GODWIN.
