JOSEPHINE DRISH.

Washington, Ia. May 14. -- Miss Josephine DRISH of Pleasant Plain was buried Saturday morning from the Catholic church at Pleasant Plain. She was thirteen years old and was a twin of her brother Joseph. She is a sister of Mrs. Joe MELINSKY of Washington.

Death of Josephine DRISH.

The funeral of Josephine DRISH, sister of Mrs. Joe MELINSKIE of this city was held at St. Mary's Church at Pleasant Plain last Saturday morning with interment at that cemetery.

Josephine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John D. DRISH of five miles southwest of Brighton, died quite suddenly Tuesday afternoon. She was taken with an attack of appendicitis a day or so earlier but before an operation could be performed the appendix bursted (sic) and the poison spread thru her system.

She was born on the home farm May 14, 1908 and had lived there thruout her short life. Besides the parents she is survived by eight brothers and sisters, Mrs. Jos. MELINSKIE, of Washington, Walter who is on his return from California, Barbara, Tom, McCoy, Herman, Johanna and her twin brother Joseph.
