Services Tomorrow For Mrs. WILMS, 96

BRIGHTON, Ia. -- Funeral services for Mrs. Cecilia WILMS, 96, longtime resident of Brighton, will be held tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic church at East Pleasant Plain with the Rev. P. Wetzstein in charge. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery at East Pleasant Plain.

Mrs. WILMS died yesterday at 11 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth RICHARDSON, at Brighton. She was born April 20, 1856, in Germany, the daughter of John Peter and Gertrude WEYER FRANZEN. She came to Iowa in 1883 and on Jan. 13, 1884, was married at Polishville to Henry WILMS who died Nov, 17, 1934.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. RICHARDSON, one son, Peter WILMS of Moline, Ill., six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth ARNDT of Brighton. Eight brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

The body is at the Omar Hoskins funeral home at Brighton where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 this evening.
