Mrs. Bertha TROXEL passed away after illness of 10 yearsBertha M. TROXEL, native of Jefferson county, passed away at the Jefferson county hospital Friday at 6:00 p.m. She had been in poor health for the past 10 years.
Funeral services will be held at the St. Mary's Catholic church at 9:30 a.m. Monday in charge of Rev. Fr. H. M. Thoman. Burial will be in the St. Joseph cemetery at East Pleasant Plain.
Mrs. TROXEL was born in Jefferson county on May 27, 1871. The family lived in Burlington for 30 years where Mr. TROXEL was employed. He passed away 13 years ago in that city. Mrs. TROXEL moved to Fairfield two years ago.
She is survived by one brother, Joe H. KESSELL (sic - KESSEL), Fairfield, and several nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the Hoskins funeral home.
