Set Rites For Miss SOBASKI

BRIGHTON, Ia. -- Gertrude SOBASKI, 64, former Jefferson county resident, died Saturday at Holy Cross hospital in Chicago, Ill.

Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. DST at St. Joseph church at East Pleasant Plain in charge of the Rev. Fr. C. D. Mannhardt. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery. The rosary will be recited Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the Gould funeral home in Brighton.

Miss SOBASKI had been a resident of Chicago for eight years. She was reared and educated in Pleasant Plain. She was born Oct. 6, 1895 (sic - 1894) at East Pleasant Plain, the daughter of Peter and Mary GOZDELLA (sic - GOZDZIELA) SOBASKI. She was a member of the Catholic church.

Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: A. T. SOBASKI, Sylvester SOBASKI, Brighton; Mrs. Helen LEON, Mrs. Rose IMBER, Walter SOBASKI, Chicago; Mrs. Josephine BENDA, Pleasant Plain; and Mrs. Pauline ANDURA (sic - BANDURA), Creston.
