Plan SCHOEPFER Rites At Pleasant Plain Church on Saturday

BRIGHTON -- Funeral services for Miss Bertha SCHOEPFER, 43, of Pleasant Plain who died at Iowa City Thursday will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic church in East Pleasant Plain at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in charge of the Rev. Paul Wetzstein. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery. The body is presently at the Omar Hoskins funeral home in Brighton where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 this evening.

Miss SCHOEPFER was born in Washington county Jan. 4, 1912, the daughter of Robert and Edna GIDEON SCHOEPFER. She moved with her family to the farm south of Pleasant Plain where she lived most of her life.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Chris EARNEST and one brother Andrew SCHOEPFER, both of Wayland. She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant sister.
