Editors Ledger:-- ... Mrs. Rachel (sic) CLINE was suddenly stricken with paralysis Friday, while waiting at the B. & W. depot for the train, on which she was going to Hedrick; medical aid was hastily summoned and restoratives applied, after which she was conveyed to her home on Church street, where she lingered until Sunday morning, when she ceased to breathe; Mrs, CLINE had been very cheerful and walked to the train in the best of spirits Friday; the remains were taken to Abingdon and laid in the cemetery beside her kindred; one child, a son, who is married and lives here, mourns the loss of a deovted mother. Mrs. CLINE's maiden name was BRADFIELD, and several brothers and sisters reside in this state, three brothers in this county. Mrs. CLINE had been a resident of our town about a year, and was esteemed by all for her many virtues. ...
