Mrs. Bertha KNOPP
John KNOPP of Washington received word of the death of his mother, Mrs. Bertha KNOPP, Wednesday morning at Moline, Ill. She formerly lived at East Pleasant Plain.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha KNOPP, 87, were held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's church in East Pleasant Plain with the Rev. Father Paul Wetzstein in charge. Mrs. KNOPP passed away at Moline, Ill. Wednesday morning.
She was born March 16, 1860 in Germany and was married February 14, 1885 to John KNOPP. The family moved to the East Pleasant Plain community in 1891. Since the death of her husband in 1926, she had lived with her children.
She is survived by one son, John of Washington; four daughters, Mrs. Peter WILMS, Mrs. Rose GEVOK (sic - GEVOCK) and Mrs. Elizabeth DRISH all of Moline and Mrs. Katherine BLEUEL of Downers Grove, Ill., and by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
