Former County Man, George HOOK, Dies; Rites at Brighton

BRIGHTON, -- George HOOK, 76, a former resident of the East Pleasant Plain area, died Wednesday at Stuart, Iowa, where he had lived for the last ten years. Prior to going to Stuart, Mr. HOOK's home had always been at East Pleasant Plain.

The body was sent to the Omer Hoskins funeral home in Brighton today, where a rosary service will be held tonight at 8 p.m.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from St. Joseph's church in East Pleasant Plain. Burial will be in the cemetery there.

Mr. HOOK was preceded in death by his wife and a daughter, Mrs. Lillian CAVINESS.

One brother, John HOOK of Burlington, survives.
