Laurence GEVOCK Dies; Schedule Funeral Thursday

Laurence GEVOCK, 46, of 517½ East Washington street, died Monday in University hospital.

The son of John and Josie KREGOSHI (sic - KREGOSKI) GEVOCK, he was born October 15, 1908, in East Pleasant Plain.

He moved to Iowa City about six years ago. Mr. GEVOCK was employed as a chef.

He was a member of the Eagles lodge (sic - Aerie/Club).

Survivors include his former wife, one daughter, Joanne Irene GEVOCK, and one son, Kenneth, both of Iowa City.

Brief funeral services will be conducted at the Oathout funeral chapel Thursday at 9 a.m. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's church in East Pleasant Plain.

Burial will be in East Pleasant Plain.
